Brookville Kindergarten is a community early-childhood centre in Toorak, Melbourne, running 3-year-old and 4-year-old programs grounded in inquiry-based learning. Its educators had built something parents genuinely valued, but the old site did not reflect that warmth or make enrolment easy to navigate.
We were asked to create a website that felt like the kindergarten itself: welcoming, clear, and reassuring. The audience is busy parents weighing where to send their child, so every page had to answer real questions without making them dig.
The result is a friendly, mobile-first site that lets families understand the programs, the philosophy, and how to enrol, all at a glance.
Built around the parent's journey
We structured the site around how a parent actually decides: what the programs offer, what makes the approach different, and how to take the next step. The 3-year-old and 4-year-old programs each got clear, plainly written space, and the inquiry-based philosophy was given room to come through in the centre's own voice.
Visually we kept things soft and human, leaning on real photography and gentle, uncluttered layouts that read just as well on a phone as on a desktop. The aim throughout was trust: a site that feels cared for, because the kindergarten is.

Brookville Kindergarten now has a live website that matches the quality of the centre, an early-learning provider rated as Exceeding the National Quality Standard. Parents can explore the programs, understand the approach, and find their way to enrolment without friction, on whatever device they happen to be using.
